About this Position

As a Technical Sales Trainee for our Adhesive Packaging Business, you will embark on a 12–16-month rotational graduate program across Europe, starting with a program kick-off in September. From day one, you will enjoy the security of a permanent contract and a clear path for your future with Henkel. The target position for this role is in the European Packaging Sales team homebased in Poland. During the program, you will experience various Marketing & Sales roles, learn alongside technical experts and Application Engineers, receive mentoring, and build connections with peers, mentors, and senior leaders. You will be supported throughout your journey, ensuring a smooth transition into your long-term role in the local sales team in Poland with unique growth opportunities and international experiences.

What you´ll do

  • Kick off your journey in September 2026 as part of our European rotational graduate program, setting the foundation for your career
  • Execute local sales plans aligned with the business unit strategy to maintain and expand existing business and attract new customers, including strategic cooperations with distributors
  • Visit customers and participate in events to understand their needs and build strong relationships with industrial customers
  • Network with colleagues and exchange ideas to broaden your professional network beyond Marketing & Sales.
  • Join Henkel Adhesive Technologies’ Marketing & Sales community and contribute to commercial excellence and technical know-how. Develop and execute innovative marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Participate in three immersive rotations within Marketing & Sales departments and engage in job shadowing activities in related areas such as Application Engineering to gain comprehensive business and technical understanding.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Europe to gain insight into our Marketing & Sales organization, operations and sustainability functions.  Take ownership of individual and team projects, enhancing your problem-solving, teamwork skills and sustainability expertise.

What makes you a good fit

  • Recent graduate or early-career professional with a Bachelor/Master’s degree in engineering, other STEM field or business administration with strong technical affinity.
  • Fluent in English and Polish; proficiency in another European language is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in selling innovative packaging adhesive solutions in technical B2B environment. Previous internships in sales with a technical or innovation focus are advantageous.
  • Eager to pursue a technical sales specialist role in Poland location post-trainee program.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication skills and sustainability mindset.
  • Team player with fresh ideas, effective collaboration skills and pr-active mindset.
  • Experienced in MS Office, Power BI and SAP. Additional knowledge in digital and CRM tools is a plus.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in the dynamic Marketing & Sales environment.
  • Open to relocating within Europe for up to 3 months during the traineeship.
  • Possession of a valid “B” category driving license.
